A. Free Play (Mix Group)
Total Time 20 Min.
Children will play outdoors. Teacher will monitor and observe their activities and play. It will be indoor play time in case of the rainy season or any other circumstances. Teacher will not guide them with what to play with and how to play. She will take care of safety and causations. She can ask to make a line or wait for turn to come.
B. Circle Time (Whole Group)

(15 mins) The teacher will bring a few clothes to the class like pants, shirt, salwar kurta, jeans and a few baby clothes. She will explain generally papa wears pants and shirt, mumma wears salwar kurta and children’sclothes are different.
Girls wear hair band, clips etc.

Circle – The teacher will show the round objects in the class like a ball, a bangle, cap of the bottle, a bowl, a round basket, a round face, a bindi, a chapatti, a coin etc.
She will draw a circle on the board and show it to children. She will also make the children move their fingers around the objects.

The teacher will make children play musical chairs. She will explain how the game is to be played. She will keep only 6 chairs in a circle.

(10 mins) Engage the children in a conversation and ask questions such as
- Who has taken a bath in the morning? How do you feel before and after a bath?
- Do you use soap? Why?
- What did you eat in the morning?
- How do you brush your teeth and how many times a day do you brush your teeth?
She will then talk about the routine activities done from morning. Like we get up, brush our teeth, take bath and so on.
Material required: Soap, toothbrush, hair brush, comb, nail cutter, face towel

Colour the ball.
First the teacher will show the children how to trace the outline of the ball with fore finger and big finger. She will move both her fingers on the circle of the ball. Then she will ask the children to do the same.
She will then ask children to color the ball with any color crayon. It is fine children may just scribble.

Daily activities to keep ourselves clean
Show the pictures of daily routine and then b gin with the first activity of brushing our teeth.
- The educator will display charts or pictures depicting the daily routine and keeping clean.
- She will ask the children – “What do y u see in the picture? What is the child doing? Wha is he using? Why is he doing it?” etc.
The educator must emphasize the importance of the daily routine activities and keeping ourselves clean such as brushing teeth twice, taking bath every day, cutting nails, washing hands with soap before and after eating and also after using the toilet. She will explain that we should keep ourselves clean to avoid infection.
